Strat Samples:

 Full Gain - Stratocaster with Neck and Middle pickups selected.  (Clean then full gain)

Note the quack is still retained while getting dirt and sustain.

This gives you a general idea of the sounds with medium gain.  Picking is varied from soft to hard to demonstrate the dynamic response. The transparency makes it fairly obvious which pickups are selected at any given time.
